After months of being closed and working to strict guidelines we’re now slowly able to bring back some Valet favourites to the menu. Things are slowly starting to feel a bit normal again. The month of June is set to offer some highlights at our flagship store. Take a look below there’s so much going on!
The summer is finally here, the European cup kicks off this Friday 11th, there’s Royal Ascot from the 15th – 19th, and to round things off its the Valet 12th Anniversary on Thursday the 17th June. What with all the travel restrictions imposed, the great weather ahead and so much to do in London, why not just staycation right here in London town. Its been a long haul for most of us and with the decent vaccine roll out it’s high time we all started to feel good and enjoy what’s on offer right here on our door steps. What better month to pop in to your favourite salon for a spruce up with a glass of bubbly and watch some live sports action whilst getting pampered. We are also running our usual free lucky dip worth £300.00 up to Friday at close of business as we have done in the past with major international football tournaments. There will be 24 tickets available on a first come first served basis from this coming Wednesday 9th June. See further below what you could win. We have also introduced steam back on the menu, so why not give your face and beard the treat that it deserves.
We’ve also covered in this publication how we might be affected by so many barbershops opening on our high street, as well as introducing you to new team members of the Valet. The proper coffee that you all loved is now back on our complementary offering, and what new treatments are available as part of our service offering. Pop down this week or next for some chillax time at the Valet, even if it’s just to pop in and say hello! Or to celebrate our 12 years of being a loyal servant to the community. 12 Years in the making
That’s right, after sailing the storms we’ve made it through to 2021. Next Thursday the 17th June it will be 12 years in the making, and as most of you know we’ve come a long way. Why not book an appointment and celebrate with us over a glass of bubbly whilst getting spruced up in the chair. We’d love to see you whether old or new for a catch up.
Our High Street is becoming overcrowded with Barbershops, but is this presenting us with tough competition?
In short, the answer so far is no! But then from day one, it has always been our mission to provide our clients with a unique service offering from that of what you’d expect at the regular high street barbershop. We have gone through some great lengths and thought processes to design a comprehensive service menu and one that not only provides the customer with an unforgettable experience but of which also gives great results!
We are also proud of the selective team that we’ve established, who are comfortable in almost any environment to perform, whether it be a hairdressers men’s cut with colour or a restyle that requires barbering skills combined. The team are well adapted with a multi skill-set ability. We have always described ourselves as a men’s hairdressers with an old school flair for traditional barbering. We have set ourselves apart from the rest, but I would have to say one of the biggest differences aside from the comprehensive service offering, is the time our team allocates to concentrate on quality and creativity.
The Euro’s kick off this week. Is football finally coming home?
As we’ve done with all of the major international tournaments since we’ve been open we will be running a lucky dip for the first 24 Valet customers. We’ve so far at the Valet been able to enjoy with our clients the 2010, 2014, and 2018 World cups and also the Euro’s 2012, and 2016. The deal is we will have 24 envelopes available for the first 24 clients that books and receives a Wash & Cut / Restyle or a Signature treatment with us before the close of play this Friday 11th June.
Each envelope will contain one of the qualifying 24 teams. You will select one random envelope from the tombola which will display the team. Your client record card will then be placed and sealed in that team’s envelope. As each team gets knocked out of the competition these envelopes will get disregarded. The last four remaining teams to qualify for the semi-finals and finals will all win a prize.
- For the runners up of the semi-finals the clients will win a complementary restyle worth £45.00
- For the runner up of the final, the client will win a Californian Signature treatment worth £85.00
- The client who has selected the winning team of the European cup 2021 will win a £130.00 Valet store card
If you think you will be requiring a restyle or a signature treatment and were planning on booking within the next week, then get in there before Friday this week. Come on England!
Maisie our new front of house co-ordinator
The Valet Addiscombe welcomes Maisie to the team. Maisie has come from a salon receptionist background previously working at a busy London salon. She is here to handle all of your appointment needs and is also the salon’s head coordinator at front of house. She is available during business hours via the telephone, email, or through our social and web contact enquiry forms. Feel free to give her a shout or say hello the next time you’re in. We wish Maisie a bright and successful future at the Valet London.
We know some of you have been missing the Cappuccino and Latte we had on offer before Covid -19. We’re pleased to announce the Barista is back!
A coffee lover, then why not enjoy one of our complimentary coffee’s whilst in the salon. We now offer Flat Whites, Cortado (Expresso with a shot of white) or strait Expressos. We are still serving hot beverages in a takeaway cup but if you’d prefer a cup and saucer just ask. Comes accompanied by a Biscoff.
For all you steam lovers – it’s now officially back on the menu!
As most of you know we dropped steam off the menu after the first lockdown, but we’re pleased to announce the little Daleks are now back on the shop floor pumping out a nice flow of steam and ozone to deeply cleanse your skin and beard. It’s sheer bliss and totally sleepy!
Why not book an Arctic beard treatment which includes a 24-carat gold facial or a Californian deep cleansing facial or simply an old Valet favourite the Deluxe shave or Captain Valet. All of these options come aided with steam. Enjoy a complimentary flute of Scavi & Ray or a cold beer, lay back fall asleep and let your Barber do the rest!
