Definitely out with the old & in with the new…
Roll on 2021
We wish you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year
Our Christmas opening hours are;
Christmas Eve – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Wednesday 30th – 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
New Year’s Eve – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
We will reopen in the New Year on Monday 4th at 9:00 am
Please note we will be closed from 3:00 pm on the 24th December through to Wednesday 30th December and also from 5:00 pm on New Year’s Eve through to Monday 4th January 2021. We also will be open on Tuesday 22nd December, which is usually our day of rest!
In addition to the extra safety practices we’ve implemented to keep you safe, we’ll do our best to ensure your Christmas experience at The Valet is a memorable one. As most of you will know, during Christmas week at The Valet you are normally spoilt for choice with mince pies, snowballs, mulled wine and the like. But due to the current safety policy, there will be no goodies on offer this year, unfortunately. Saying that we are able to maintain some festivity and serve you an advocat and lemonade in a takeaway cup. And that’s not it – we will still have our usual Christmas movie day on Monday the 21st December and, as always, you will enjoy the festive music playlist on Spotify as well as our usual shop banter!
If you haven’t already made your Christmas and New Year’s Eve booking, don’t delay as we wouldn’t want to disappoint you. Please note that in the event you have left it too late, don’t run off down the road as there’s still hope. With our sophisticated booking system, we can add you to a standby list and if any cancellations come up you will be called.
We are now seeing online bookings coming in hard and fast. So don’t delay, get online now to get your pre-Christmas trim reserved. Please note some online bookings may be subject to a slight time alteration within a 30-minute time slot, but in any event you will be notified of this a day prior to your appointment and this will also be confirmed on your booking SMS text reminder.
New! – The Valet Gift Card
Makes a perfect Christmas gift to hang on the tree, it can be loaded up to any amount and comes with a smart gift wallet and a personalised message
We’ve recently designed and produced a Valet credit-card style gift card that you can top up to any value of your choice, which will also sit very nicely in your own or your partner’s wallet. Just ask at reception on your next visit to obtain one and get it charged up. This way, on every visit to our point of sale, you will simply need to produce your Valet gift card with your own personal barcode which we then scan to debit the value of your treatment or product purchase.
Ask for or send a Valet Gift Card this Christmas
These also make a very welcome Christmas present to hang on the tree, as they come in a very smart gift wallet with a personal gift message. Alternatively, our online payment facility is available through your online booking account. All online deposits and gift cards will automatically be assigned to your client account. You will also be able to log in to your online account to book an appointment and pay for your service upfront. This will aid social distancing as when you have finished your appointment you can just leave the shop without needing to come into contact with our reception staff.
If you don’t already have an online account you can tap/click the button below. All you need to do is enter an email address and create a password.

How do we do things during this pandemic?
It’s still so important that we all adhere to the guidelines. Choose the right establishment to ensure the R number is kept under wraps in our London borough and help ensure we enter 2021 without any further spikes.
Since the original easing of the first lockdown, we personally witnessed a wide range of attitudes from the public regarding social distancing and PPE, but ultimately it is our responsibility as a business in the community and the public sector to ensure that all our customers are kept safe and made to feel that they are in a safe environment when visiting our Barbershop. For those of you with a more laid back attitude towards the pandemic, I’m afraid there’s no room for you at our inn, and so we ask that if you want to visit us that you comply fully with the terms of our Health & Safety policy.
When you visit us you will notice the lengths that we have gone to to protect you and our staff. Our premises are now accessed via a video entry system and we run bookings strictly by appointment only. Access will not be permitted without previously booking an appointment. Our staff wear full PPE, donning both a mask and visor at all times, as well as gloves for any facial treatments. Your temperature is taken and the door and sanitiser and face masks are provided to you on entry. You are protected with a disposable under cape when you get in your barber chair and hot drinks are now served in disposable takeaway cups. Barber stations and equipment are disinfected on every changeover.

Considering a restyle for Christmas? Be sure to book the right service…
We know many of you have grown out your hair during the lockdowns and subsequent months and are liking the length, which has created an opportunity for a new style.
We are offering free consultations via Facetime or WhatsApp so you can let your barber know what your requirements will be prior to your appointment. This will also allow us to properly allocate the correct appointment length for you. Please note that a re-style appointment will be booked for 50 – 60 minutes.
If you think you might be considering a restyle and are planning on booking your next appointment online, then please be sure to book the correct service by selecting the Re-style option and not the Esquire option, as this will only cause further delays for other customers and will result with you being charged more than you expected on the day or you may even be asked to reschedule your booking .
Please let us know if you will require a video consultation when we book your appointment or simply send us a request for one by email with your mobile number and we will arrange for one of our senior barbers or stylists to call you.
We look forward to seeing you all in the Barbershop in the lead up to Christmas.
